Health Commissioner Bio

Seneca County Health Commissioner Marjorie Broadhead began her tenure as Health Commissioner in Seneca County in 1999. Commissioner Broadhead holds current license as a Registered Nurse with the State of Ohio. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron and a Masters degree in Business from Kent State University.

In addition to her duties locally, she is active with state legislators on issues of public health and in the State Northwest District of the Association of Ohio Health Commissioners. She serves locally in the community as a board member of Community Health Services and as current chair, past chair and member of several local organizations.

She is a published author, an avid golfer and enjoys the outdoors.
